T4WK1 - Calf Club Day

Students from across the school creating 'Kokedamas'  - a style of Japanese bonsai, where a plant's root system is simply wrapped in sphagnum moss and bound with string, transforming it into a sculptural art form.

Sand saucers and shoebox dioramas; just two of over one dozen different Ag Day art activities on offer throughout the school on Monday.

Well done Kereru students who entered calves and lambs into proceedings today and congratulations to those who were awarded ribbons and trophies!

T4WK1

Term 4 started off with a hiss and a roar with Year 5's from Kakariki and Kereru completing a Breakout EDU activity.
Searching for clues with an ultraviolet light to open the next lock.
Trying to solve a range of puzzles which involve teamwork, participating and contributing to complete.
 Success!
Jayden reading the first chapter of 'Middle School: Big Fat Liar' to Kereru alongside four others vying to have their books read to the class this term.
Cupcakes galore!  Celebrating Sam P's 11th birthday this week.
That rare moment caught on camera when Kereru are lost for words, (with mouths full of cake :)
